A full-venue reception with eleven live counters, a Banarasi paan station, and a courtyard lit entirely by oil lamps.
Two hundred and twenty guests, the complete venue, and a single instruction from the family — no electric light in the courtyard. We lit it entirely with oil lamps, replenished through the night by two people whose only job was the flame.
Eleven counters ran simultaneously: chaat, kachori-sabzi, the baati roast, a paneer station, two sweet counters, and a Banarasi paan trolley that closed the evening. The dessert hall opened only after the ceremony, which kept the courtyard clear when it mattered.
The photographer told us afterwards it was the best light he had worked in. That is the whole argument for lamps over lanterns.
These are the packages this evening was built from. Every one of them is a starting point — add counters, change the thali, extend the service team.
Receptions, sangeet and mehndi across the whole venue.
The full haveli — every lamp lit, every counter live.
Our most-chosen evening — food, flowers and photographs.
Send us the date, the guest count and the shape of the evening. We reply with a quotation, a seating plan and a menu draft — usually within a few hours.
